The aim to achieve sustainable development and growth through the proper allocation of financial investments is still innovative, intriguing and potentially very powerful. We examine therefore, how financial investors and financial intermediaries can steer economic development towards sustainability. Interdependencies between the finance sector, the energy sector and the environment and growth are closely investigated.
