Verein für Socialpolitik (Association of German-speaking Economists)

Welcome to the pages of the Research Committee Environmental and Resource Economists (AUROE)

 

The Scientific Society of German-speaking Environmental and Resource Economists is a subgroup of the Verein für Socialpolitik which emerged from a meeting in 1992 and was officially established in 1993. The first official meeting took place in Ladenburg on April, 29-30, 1994.

Participation requires membership in the Verein für Socialpolitik a proposal by a current member of the Society, an invitation and approval of the current members after a scientific presentation.

 

The current chairman (since July, 1, 2010) is Prof. Dr. Lucas Bretschger, ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

• Professor Dr. Dieter Cansier, Universität Tübingen (1996 till 1998)
